Life Long Learner
Tutor Profile
As a Duke PA graduate with 35 years of clinical and academic experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Physiatry, Neurosurgery, and Post-Acute Care, I am dedicated to education and mentorship. For eight years, I served as teaching faculty with the University of Washington Medex NW PA Program, where I also held roles as the Technical Skills Course Chair and a satellite site coordinator. However, my passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom—to the ski hill. Staying true to my roots in Emergency Medical Services and the National Ski Patrol, I actively teach EMT students and ski patrollers in Outdoor Emergency Care. I believe effective teaching is built on meaningful connections, adapting to diverse learning styles and environments, and inspiring growth. True success isn’t just about passing an exam—it’s about fostering a lifelong ability to learn, adapt, and excel.
